We looked back on the first day of the “Publication Camp Tunisia” held at MSB, which marked the start of a scientific publication support program through two inspiring sessions. 📚✨
Pr. Russell W. Belk presented his research on gendered violence, introducing an original experimental approach that combined qualitative storytelling with graphic novels to explore how violence is portrayed against human versus robot women.
Pr. Nacima Ourahmoune also shared valuable insights on conducting and publishing research from the Global South, with a focus on navigating sensitive field settings and transforming rich, context-driven fieldwork into strong theoretical contributions.
It was an engaging beginning, filled with thought-provoking discussions and fresh perspectives, setting the tone for the rest of the program.
