I am a researcher and academic who hold a PhD in applied mathematics from ENIT.
I started my university journey at the Faculty of Science of Tunis where I obtained my bachelor degree. Then I conducted masters studies in modelling between Faculty of Science of Tunis and ENIT. My Masters research was conducted at the LAMSIN laboratory in ENIT and was around Chemost reactions' modeling. For the PhD research, I became a student at BIMS laboratory of the Pasteur Institute of Tunis.The research work shifted to public health.
During my PhD, I worked as a part time faculty in ISETCom and MSB.
I also conducted a Postdoc with the AMAX project at Pasteur Intitute of Tunis. This project is a collaboration between Pasteur Intitute of Tunis and Medtech.
During my postdoc, I worked, along with the modelling team at BIMS, on the implementation of the vaccination strategy of HPV. The fruit of that work was obtained when HPV vaccination was officially added to the vaccination calender.
I also contributed, through a two-week visist to Cameroun, in the forming of young african researchers to develop their skills in both mathematical modelling and communication with decision makers. During that stay, I also interacted through a workshop with different representatives of the Health department in cameroun to identify public health concerns and implement detailed plans of research strategies.
In addition to research activities, I am actively involved in scientific writing, teaching, and the development of educational materials in mathematics, statistics, and optimization.
