Cédric Lesage is Full Professor at JMSB, Concordia University, Montréal, Canada. He holds the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Chair in Accountancy. Professor Lesage started his career as auditor (Ernst & Young). He then became professor at Sorbonne University, Paris, and joined HEC Paris for 10 years. He holds a PhD degree in Management Science from the University of Rennes 1, and is a qualified Doctoral Dissertation Adviser. He has co-authored 2 books, and published articles in many international academic journals. His research focuses on audit quality and fraudulent behaviors in firms. He is president of the French Accounting Association.
