Dorra Abidi

Biography

Dorra Abidi is specialized in the development and implementation of economic development agendas.

From 2012 onwards, she has been working on several UN, USAID, and WB assistance programs in MENA and Asia assessing the business environment and supporting private sector growth and youth employability. She cooperated closely with key stakeholders (Ministries, MCC, USAID, private firms, AU, etc.) to build a sustainable partnership, and develop a mutually beneficial growth scenario to raise private sector competitiveness and employment.

As an Assistant Professor, she joined the Faculty of MSB in 2019 where she oversaw the development and teaching of management and strategy-related courses in English at several levels. She also led the process of the MSB strategic planning project.

Dorra received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Management and Strategy at the Institute of Advanced Business Studies, Carthage Tunisia (IHEC). She completed her Ph.D., majoring in Strategic Management at Osaka University, on a scholarship from the Japanese government.
