Strengthening Partnerships and Inspiring Students at SMU
We had the immense pleasure of hosting Dean Ed Bashaw and Brian Powers, Executive Director of International Education, from our esteemed partner, Emporia State University.
Emporia has been a cherished and longstanding partner of SMU, and this visit provided a wonderful opportunity to deepen our collaboration while showcasing the transfer programs available to our students at both MedTech and MSB.
As part of the visit, Dean Ed Bashaw delivered an inspiring lecture titled: “Roadmap for Societal Impact in a Business School: A Case Study at Emporia State University.”
This session offered valuable insights into the transformative role business schools can play in driving societal impact, leaving a lasting impression on our students and faculty alike.
Here's to many more collaborations and success stories with Emporia State University
