Abstract: As COVID-19 continues spreading in the whole world, how to keep learning in disruption has become a challenge to the global education community. In this context, the Open Educational Resources (OERs) can be considered as an important tool in opening access to education. This talk, first, describes OERs and their specificities and describes the various licenses that can be used for the production and sharing of OERs. We will focus on the role of open educational practice and open educational culture in universities in post covid world and discuss the opportunities and dilemmas encountered in opening education in this rapidly evolving age of technology-enabled learning.
Speaker: Dr. Lilia Cheniti
Bio: Dr. Lilia Cheniti Belcadhi is an associate professor of Computer Sciences at the Higher Institute of Computer Sciences and Communication Technologies, University of Sousse,Tunisia, and a graduate of the University of Braunschweig in Germany where she read for an engineer and master’s degree in Computer Sciences. She is a member of the PRINCE Research Lab at the University of Sousse and was associate researcher at the Computer Science department Bretagne, Brest in France. She is involved, as part of her ongoing research, in several eLearning projects and has co-authored various online courses and a Massive open Online Course (MOOC) on Object-Oriented Modeling of Computer Applications.
