SMU foundation
SMU Foundation is a Tunisian non-profit association founded in 2018 by the South Mediterranean University (SMU-Group MSB, MedTech and LCI). Its aim is to promote and support the development of youth through the funding of student scholarships, research projects as well as employability and capacity building programs.
Principal responsibilities:
Assist the Director in operational activities around the Foundation’s 4 key focus areas: education, research grants, employability programs & capacity building programs. Tasks will include:
Datamining and monitoring: identification of research opportunities, conferences, seminars, funding opportunities…
Project management: operational management and execution of trainings and programs (scholarship program, capacity building programs, etc)
Reporting (weekly, monthly) and contribution to the SMUF annual report
Communication:
Maintain SMUF Facebook and LinkedIn pages (content creation and Social Media Management)
Maintain SMUF website (update events & banners)
Manage the foundation’s generic mailbox
Liaise with other SMU departments to ensure communications is smooth and strategies are aligned.
Required profile:
2 to 3 years minimum experience required
Undergraduate or master’s in business (preferred)
Experience in Project Management, communications, and social media management
Preferred experience in national or international associations & clubs.
Excellent level of spoken and written English and French (A good level of written and spoken Arabic will be appreciated as well.
Evidence of having worked in group settings and / or as part of a cross-organizational or inter-organizational team.
