Principal responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Head of research in operational activities & administrative activities
  • Datamining and monitoring: identification of research opportunities, conferences, seminars, funding opportunities…
  • Build and maintain a Research Database: centralization of the publications, conferences, research projects, available funding
  • Follow-up on processes and accreditation requirements
  • Communication around the SMU Research Center:
  • Design of Marketing & Communications collaterals: newsletters, website content, brochure, presentations ...
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure communications is smooth and strategies are aligned
  • Assisting in organizing workshops, events, seminars of the Research Center


Required profile: 

  • Undergraduate or master’s in the business field
  • Experience in fundraising
  • Experience in Project Management, communications, and social media management is preferred
  • Experience in national or international associations & clubs is a plus
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English and French
  • Ability to communicate effectively – in writing and in person - about research findings to a range of audiences
