Overview:

Enactus SMU is a community of student leaders committed to using entrepreneurial action to drive sustainable social, environmental, and economic progress. As part of Enactus Tunisia and the global Enactus network, the club empowers students to turn ideas into impactful, business-based solutions that improve lives and strengthen communities.

Each year, members develop innovative projects that address real-world challenges, culminating in two major competitions: the Enactus National Competition, where teams from across Tunisia showcase their impact, and the Enactus World Cup, where national champions represent their country on the global stage.

Key Activities & Focus Areas:

Enactus SMU’s work follows a dynamic cycle of social entrepreneurship and experiential learning, combining education, innovation, and measurable impact through:

• Project Development & Implementation: Conducting needs assessments, designing sustainable business models, and executing community projects.
• Entrepreneurial Leadership: Managing budgets, supply chains, and teams while cultivating essential leadership and management skills.
• Impact Measurement & Showcase: Presenting outcomes at the National Competition and, if successful, at the Enactus World Cup.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Partnering with business experts, faculty advisors, and local organizations to enhance project success.

All Enactus SMU initiatives align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on:

• Poverty Reduction & Economic Empowerment (SDG 1 & 8): Creating micro-enterprises and sustainable jobs.
• Environmental Sustainability (SDG 12, 13, 14, 15): Promoting circular economy practices and waste reduction.
