Biography

Dr. Lamia Bouaziz holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Faculty of Science of Tunis (FST), University of Tunis El-Manar, as well as an engineering degree in Energy Engineering from the National Engineering School of Monastir (ENIM). She is currently an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Renewable Energy Engineering program at the Mediterranean Institute of Technology (MedTech), South Mediterranean University, Tunisia. She previously served as Director of Master’s Programs at MedTech for five years. Dr. Bouaziz has over 10 years of experience in the energy field, combining academic, research, and program leadership roles. Dr. Bouaziz is a member of the LaNSER research group at the Research and Technology Centre of Energy (CRTEn), where she has been actively involved in research activities related to renewable energy technologies, in addition to leading and supervising numerous hands-on and Engineering Capstone projects. She has also contributed as a researcher at the Nanotechnology Center of the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain, where she worked on advanced research in nanomaterials for energy-related applications.
