MedTech and UMD established a collaborative education initiative defined as “3+2 Dual Diploma Program. Qualified students enrolled at MedTech will be accepted into selected fields of study in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UMD for the last 2 years to finish the required education curriculum. After these 5 years, they will qualify for their bachelor’s degree awarded by MedTech and a Master’s degree conferred by the Regents of the University of Michigan upon the recommendation of the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies and UMD. According to this agreement, MedTech students will enjoy the in-state tuition fees.

Each discipline in the 3+2 Program will require a program of study approved by both MEDTECH and UMD.
Each will contain general and technical courses satisfying baccalaureate degree requirements from MEDTECH and master’s degree requirements from UMD. The program of study* for each approved course discipline should include course sequence information to guide each MEDTECH student’s study.
Students who wish to apply for the 3+2 Dual Diploma Program must have accomplished :
General Admission Requirements :
Students must have completed five semesters of university study at the time of application to Michigan and their cumulative GPA is 3.00 or higher.
Language Proficiency Requirements :
Students must satisfy one of the following English Language Proficiency requirements:
